Forme

Privacy policy

Effective 12 October 2026 · Data controller: Huzaifa bin Saad

Forme uses the information you choose to provide to create private appearance and wardrobe guidance. It does not sell personal data or use advertising trackers.

Information collected

Forme collects account details such as email; the city and coordinates you choose for weather; scan, wardrobe, avatar and outfit photos you provide; screenshots or photos of items you ask Forme to check; questions you type to the in-app stylist; fragrances you add; the height and weight you choose to enter; measurements and appearance analysis derived from scans; wardrobe records, preferences and outfit activity; purchase and entitlement status; and limited product-interaction events used to understand whether features work.

How and why it is used

Data is used to create and secure your account, analyse a scan you explicitly approve, provide recommendations and renders (including, when you ask, a picture of you wearing an outfit, made from the try-on photo you choose to save), turn clothing and fragrance bottle photos into studio-style product images, answer questions you ask the in-app stylist (using your wardrobe, fragrances and scan results), look up fragrance notes, add local weather context, operate subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve reliability, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations. Optional progress-photo consent is separate from required scan-analysis consent.

Service providers and international processing

Supabase hosts authentication, database records, private storage and server functions. Google Gemini processes content needed for AI features: scan photos, your try-on photos (the full-length photo and, if you add one, a face close-up; only when you ask to see an outfit on you), your height and weight (as text, to judge fit), clothing and fragrance bottle photos, item screenshots, your questions to the stylist together with a text description of your wardrobe, fragrances and scan results (no photos are sent with stylist questions), and fragrance names (fragrance look-ups also use Google Search to find published notes). RevenueCat, Apple and Google process subscription identity and purchases when you subscribe. Open-Meteo receives coordinates for weather requests. These providers may process data outside your country under their own legal and security safeguards.

AI photo processing

Forme uses paid Gemini API service so submitted content is not used to improve Google products. Temporary Forme scan copies are removed during the analysis flow unless you separately choose to retain one front progress photo. When the Gemini Files API is required, Forme requests deletion after processing; Google’s automatic deletion within 48 hours is the fallback.

Photos of items you check

When you ask whether an item suits you, the photo or screenshot is read and then deleted from storage straight away. Only the result is kept on your phone.

Retention

Derived scan results, wardrobe data, preferences and activity remain while your account is active. An optional progress photo remains until you delete scan data. Transaction and security records may be kept where required for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution or law.

Deletion and your rights

Privacy & data in the app deletes scan photos and derived scan records. Profile can delete your full account and active Forme data. Store subscriptions must be canceled separately. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to or erase personal data.

Security

Forme uses encrypted connections, private storage, authenticated server functions and row-level database access controls. No internet service can promise absolute security.

Adults only

Forme is intended only for people aged 18 or older. Do not create an account or submit photos if you are under 18.
